MDMA-Assisted Therapy Trials Have Achieved Remarkable Results For Those Suffering With PTSD
VICE on HBO and Ben Anderson Present “MDMA Could Help Cure PTSD”
Millions of North American’s are affected by the mental health condition called Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Many military veterans and first responders are suffering from PTSD which can be triggered by experiencing or witnessing a terrifying event such as war. Symptoms of PTSD can include uncontrollable thoughts about the event as well as flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety.
Currently, treatment options for PTSD are limited, resulting in long-term suffering and in many cases, suicide. Fortunately, there is a new set of trials taking place which have achieved remarkable results using MDMA-assisted therapy.
The VICE News video below explains the MDMA-assisted therapy trials in more detail. VICE’s very own Ben Anderson was diagnosed with PTSD more than a year ago after covering news in areas of conflict for the past 20 years.
Ben has decided to try MDMA-assisted therapy to treat and hopefully cure his own PTSD.

Awareness surrounding psychedelics as a successful treatment for mental health disorders will continue to grow as additional trials like this work to prove its efficacy.
