Charlie Sheen Set to Enter the Cannabis Market, Genius or Sheenius?

Big news surfaced yesterday that actor and TV personality Charlie Sheen, best known for his recent publicity stunts, has plans to unveil his own line of Cannabis vape pens. Naming the vapes Sheenius is a testament to the inflated ego that is Charlie Sheen. The pens will range from different levels of THC. The vapes also boast some of the most clever yet borderline absurd names that we’ve ever seen given to products. His first lines will include, MaliBlue Dream, Grandma’s Perfume, and if that wasn’t enough, you can have a pull of “Clown Mace.” Charlie was quoted telling the Daily Mail – “Clown mace is great because what clown shouldn’t be maced?”

What many may not know is that Sheen is over one year sober. Even more ironically, Sheen says he made the decision to start the line because he was tired of seeing countless bootleg cultivators and products using his name. He figured he would participate in the industry to reap the financial benefits, although touts that he hasn’t smoked “pot” in over 10 years. It just “isn’t his thing,” he tells the press. However, he still believes in the project fully, even if it doesn’t happen to fit with his current lifestyle.

“A lot of people claim to be sober and still smoke pot and I’m not one of them,” he says. “We hatched this business plan out a couple of years ago when I was still getting pretty lit. And then, when I stopped getting high, the idea was still good enough to keep pursuing.” – With or without the drugs Charlie’s attitude still seems to be there. A quote by the actor sits on the front page of the Sheenius website. ‘I’m tired of pretending like I’m not special. I’m tired of pretending like I’m not b****in’, a total fricking rock star from Mars,

Sheenius plans to launch its products in roughly 20 dispensaries on April 2nd, offering its first 6 flavors. Prices will range from $60 – $70 USD per cartridge.
