According to breaking news via Bloomberg it is being reported that a potential hostile takeover of Aphria Inc. (TSX: APHA) (NYSE: APHA) by Green Growth Brands (CSE: GGB) (OTC: GGBXF) could be in the works.
Shares of both companies on the Canadian exchanges were halted at nearly the same time earlier this afternoon.
Shares of APHA on the NYSE surged over 19% after hours as the news spread of the potential takeover.
